The Sweet Tooth.. Pecan & Maple Ice-Cream

I'll post a Photo Soon!

Ingredients

1.5C Raw Cashews, soaked 1-2 hours in filtered water, then drained
1/2C Real Maple Syrup
1 Medium Banana
2t Vanilla Extract, (or 1 Vanilla Bean scraped)
1C Filtered Water

Method

I have a VitaMix Blender (commercial blender like what Boost Juice uses). These Blenders are amazing as they could turn nails into pudding.. well almost).. i recommend using this only because the texture of the finished product is amazingly silky smooth.. but anyway, use whatever blender you have and im told it will still work out lovely..

Blend and Blend and Blend all of the above Ingredients until smooth...

Pour into your container (use an IceCream Maker if you have one following the Maker's Instructions).

Add 1C Pecans, chopped roughly when your mixture goes into the container or into the ice-cream maker...
I drizzed some more Maple Syrup across the top aswell when i poured the mixture into the container.. and it does add another dimension to the IceCream which is lovely.. enjoy :)

bon appetit!!

Yes, I added Cacao Crunch to it as well as the Pecans, just before the Icecream became solid in the Icecream maker. Cacao Crunch is Cacao Nibs coated in liquified sweetened (organically) cacao chocolate and the natural coffee flavour of the cacao just lifted the dimension of the icecream to another realm. Absolutely wonderfully palatable : )
